The Romance of a People: Sacrifice of a child to Moloch.

In 1933, 150,000 Jews gathered in Chicago for a "historical contest" to simulate the sacrifice of a child to Moloch. The event was called "The Romance of a People". It was organized by the Zionist Organization of America and sponsored by the Jewish Agency for Palestine. One of the speakers at the event was Haim Weissman, the first president of Israel.
