News 1 All Published: 2014/09/11 Booker T to Perform with The Philadelphia Experiment at Monterey Jazz Festival The Philadelphia Experiment will be joined by the legendary Booker T. Jones when they make a rare appearance at Dizzy’s Den in Monterey, CA on September 20 as part of the Monterey Jazz Festival. The Philadelphia Experiment is a supergroup comprised of Philadelphia-based musicians from different fields—drummer Questlove, bassist Christian McBride and keyboardist Uri Cane. Special guest guitarist Pat Martino has performed with the group on occasion, as he will at this upcoming show. Tickets for the festival are still on sale.
