New York City-based mulitinstrumentalist Carmine T. Guida is a familiar face at Middle Eastern dance and music events throughout the country. A dancers' musician, Carmine is appreciated as an enthusiastic, adaptable, and creative accompanist on both doumbek and oud; he plays weekly for belly dancers with several New York City ensembles.

Perfect for practicing with your drums, zills and dance drills. Events Major Update Apparently I haven't updated this for almost 2 years! I created a new major in Game Development! (see what I did there) This is for students starting this Fall 2024 at Pace University. I'm so excited for this. I'm also director of this program. I completed my PhD in the summer of 2022. So I'm Dr. Carmine T. Guida now. I still have my students just call me Professor Carmine. I'm also doing some research with the help of my amazing students in Reinforcement Learning. And I'm still playing music every month with some large events here and there. Oh! And I'm 99% sure I'll be at Pennsic this year!
